गणपती बप्पा चे मखर | Shrine for Ganapati Bappa !Shrine or Altar for Lord Ganesh

Ganapati Festival is the famous festival of Maharashtra.Lord Ganapati comes to our home as a guest for few days.We offer him with lots of sweets and of course his favorite food MODAK.Then making him a comfortable place to sit and stay is very important too. This year,I decided to make one by self and made this Shrine.

What you need :

  1. 3 Foam Boards (20*30 inch)
  2. Red color - Acrylic (I used the spray paint)
  3. Golden color acrylic
  4. Glue
  5. white color for writing and Rangoli (I have used water colors)

  1. I first colored one full foa with red.Keep it for drying
  2. Now on a second faom, I cut the design of makhar and Painted it gold.Keep the middle part.Do not throw.Glue it on the red Foam. Make design in center.or you can leave it blank too.
  3. Now you have remainig middle part.Cut the leafy part. You find a rectangle with 4 u shape cuts on each side.Cut at the middle exactly. You can see one of the halves in the pic.
  4. Color each part, one side with red and other with golden.
  5. Third Foam - just color with red spray and let it dry. Then make Rangoli of your choice and let it dry.
All four parts are separate from each other. So it is easy to store after the use.You can also use this for Lakshmi Poojan or other small poojas
